Deloitte auditing company published the results of its annual FAST 50 ranking of the fastest growing technology firms in Central Europe. In the “Rising Starâ category (firms in operation for 3-5 years) Internet Travel Agency Travelplanet.pl ranked first in Poland, second in this part of Europe, reaching an increase of revenues of over 1,000% over the last 3 years.
Travelplanet.pl is the only entity dealing with tourism in the Internet in the FAST 50. Jakub Mazur, Marketing Director in Travelplanet.pl said “it proves that the strategy of the company growth is good, and that our clients have confidence in the services we provide.”
The firms qualified to the Fast 50 ranking were selected on the basis of a regional questionnaire compiled by local offices of Deloitte in Central Europe. The questionnaire takes into account the annual turnover, business model, as well as primary operations of the participants. The firms additionally defined the main challenges which they will have to face in the nearest future.
The firms are classified in two categories: FAST 50 and Rising Stars, depending on how long they have been operating on the market.
