Statuettes were awarded for the second time to Digital Shaper winners on 1 October 2019. Tomasz Czechowicz, Managing Partner and Founder of MCI Group, Kinga Stanisławska, Managing Partner and Founder of Experior Venture Fund and Paweł Borys, Management Board President of the Polish Development Fund were all awarded in the category of Investments.
The Jury assessed professional achievements regarding digitisation and latest technologies.
“We have been supporting technological companies for over 20 years making it possible for them to grow and achieve the leading position not only in Poland but also in the region. I’m glad that the efforts of the entire MCI Group team have been recognised”, said Tomasz Czechowicz. “We are constantly looking for mature technological companies to help them reach a new stage of development. We support them financially and through sharing our know-how relating to digital transformation of business”, he added.
Digital Shapers is a unique list that honours outstanding individuals from the digital and new technologies world in Poland, organised by the Digital Poland Foundation. The mission of the foundation is making Poland one of the key hubs of innovation in the world.
Digital Shapers awards are a method for honouring people who have a significant input in development of digital economy in Poland. Besides the Investments category, awards were also given in the following areas: visionary, education, digital transformation as well as innovations and technologies.
The key values when preparing the professional assumptions of the list include transparency and credibility of the entire process of choosing winners. Digital Academy is an independent group of 174 outstanding experts in the world of new technologies who choose winners anonymously. The process of submitting candidates for the Digital Shaper award is public. In 2019, Digital Academy is chaired by Krzysztof Nowakowski, President of Korn Ferry in Poland.
