2024 will be an exciting year for the mergers and acquisitions market, and will also bring a significant revival on the private equity market – says Tomasz Czechowicz, CEO of MCI Capital, in an interview with Polska Agencja Prasowa. This year, the fund he manages is aiming to undertake at least three new transactions valued between PLN 100-200 million each.
“Last year we completed two investments, this year we are aiming for three new ones each ranging from PLN 100-200 million in net equity, possibly even exceeding this figure, leveraging supplementary capital from other funds. The most interesting industries for me are SaaS and digital, as well as those pertaining to green energy and the circular economy. We want to be a pioneer of investments in climate science, alongside our existing strong presence in the digital and technology sectors” said Czechowicz.
