Legal basis: Art. 56 subpar. 1 pt.1

On November 27, 2008 MCI Management SA ordered payment to MCI.BioVentures sp. z o.o. of the amount of PLN 2,280,000 to increase the share capital of the company to be made on November 28, 2008. MCI Management shall take up 380 new shares with the nominal value of PLN 500 per each share.

At the same time when the shares are taken up by MCI Management a private investor joins the company taking up 167 new shares in MCI.BioVentures for the amount of PLN 1.002.000.

After the increase of the capital MCI Management shall hold 1,370 share from the total number of 1,647 shares which shall represent 83.2% shares in MCI.BioVentures. As a result of the increase of the capital the total share capital of MCI.BioVentures biotechnology fund shall be PLN 823.500.

Increasing the capital is another stage of the plan of growth of MCI.BioVentures enabling it to make 4-6 investments this year. Up to date MCI.BioVentures has invested in Genomed Sp. z o.o. which operates in the area of molecular diagnostics and 24med Sp. z o.o. which operates in the sector of medical lifesaving and medical emergency aid.
