Legal basis: Art. 70 subpar. 1 of the Act on Public Offering

The Management Board of MCI Management SA informs that on October 14, 2008 according to Art. 69 subpar. 1 pt. 2 a) in connection with Art. 87 subpar. 1 pt. 2 a) of the Act from July 29, 2005 on public offering, conditions of introducing financial instruments into organized trading system and public companies (Journal of Laws No. 184, item 1539) it received the following information from BZ WBK AIB Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych SpĂłłka Akcyjna: acting on behalf of Arka BZ WBK ZrĂłwnoważony Fundusz Inwestycyjny Otwarty (hereinafter the “Fund”) hereby informs that on October 10, 2008, as a result of conversion of convertible bonds, the Fund became the owner of shares giving less than 5% of the total number of votes at the general assembly of the shareholders of MCI Management SA.
Before the decrease of the shares there were 2,235,229 shares of the company on the accounts of the Fund representing 5.01% in the share capital. These shares gave 2,235,229 votes at the general assembly of the shareholders, which represented 5.01% in the total number of votes at the general assembly of the shareholders of MCI Management SA.
On October 10, 2008 there were 2,235,229 shares of the company on the securities accounts of the Fund representing 4.9998% in the share capital. These shares gave 2,235,229 votes at the general assembly of the shareholders, which represented 4.9998% in the total number of votes at the general assembly of the shareholders of MCI Management SA.
