The Management Board of MCI Management S.A. informs that on the basis of the resolution from December 16, 2006 it appointed a new proxy of the company – Ms. Anna Hejka who joined MCI as Partner of the fund. She is a pioneer of investment banking who has been connected with private equity in Poland and abroad for over 20 years. She will be responsible for preparing new Mega Ticket type investments (over 50 million PLN) and launching new MCI investment funds of.
Joining MCI by such an experienced person is an important point in the growth of MCI as a fund. This should result in bringing MCI in highly attractive sector of MBOs and LBOs, increasing efficiency of activities in the area of building next funds, as well as substantial support in the scope of management of the fund.
With the growth of the scale of operations of MCI as well as competition in the market it is the key to attract and keep the best talents by the company. MCI Management S.A. will close the year 2006 with very strong 3 partners and 9 directors/managers.

Seasoned professional with broad industry experience conducting business across cultures & economic cycles recognized by the World Economic Forum in Davos as Global Leader for Tomorrow. Member of numerous supervisory boards with broad practical expertise in a number of branches of economy and in-depth knowledge of functional requirements of the enterprise. Active also in US-Europe-Poland Action Commission Privatization Action Team sponsored by the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, Advisory Committee of the State Agency for Foreign Investments and Investment Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce. Founder & President of Heyka Capital Markets, Inc. (1991-2006) – NASD registered broker/dealer, merchant bank and two international private equity funds. In 1995 the company was ranked second by Warsaw Business Journal in terms of capital invested in Poland. Founder & CEO of Central European Foods, Inc. (1994-2001), Vice President of Security Pacific (1989-1991), Registered Representative and Investment Advisor at Salomon Brothers (1987-1989) in USA, Banking Officer at JPMorgan Chase (1984-1986) and Financial Analyst at Cargill (1981-1982) in Spain.

Education
Bilingual MBA from IESE in Spain recognized by the Economist Intelligence Unit in 2005 as the best in the world gained in the joint program with Harvard Business School (1982-1984). Pursued MA in International Economics (1977-1981). Lectures at University of Gdańsk. Took and ran a number of training programs organized by employers as well as by the National Association for Security Dealers, Venture Capital Association, Center for Creative Leadership, Mind Tools, McKinsey, Milken Institute or Wharton Business School.
