The Management Board of MCI Management S.A. informs that on 28th June 2013, the Ordinary General Assembly of Shareholders passed a decision to appoint Mr. Piotr Czapski a member of Supervisory Board.
The appointed Member of the Supervisory Board submitted a statement that he does not participate in any competitive activity, neither is he as a partner in a civil law company, partnership or a member of a governing body in any capital company or a member of competitive legal entities in relation to MCI Management S.A.; he is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors held on the basis of the Act on the National Court Register.
Information regarding education, qualifications and previous positions along with description of the course of career of the appointed Member of the Supervisory Board:
Mr. Piotr Czapski is an advisor in EQT, a leading European group of private equity funds managing over 30 bln Euro of capital. In 2008 he opened a Warsaw office of EQT partners and till 2013, as a partner, he was managing operations of EQT in the East-Central Europe region. He graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, USA where he obtained his Master’s degree and earned his Ph.D. degree; he was working there as an assistant. In the years 1995-97 he was working in the research department of Chrysler Corporation. Mr. Piotr Czapski possesses 4 patents in the automotive industry. After returning to Poland in 1997 he joined McKinsey & Co. where he took the position of a partner and was in charge of McKinsey’s Business Technology Practice division in Eastern Europe. Between 2005 – 2008 he was a member of the Management Board in Netia S.A. As a member of the management board he was responsible for strategy, development and M&A transactions. He was also a member of the supervisory board of Netia and P4. Currently, he is a vice president of the HTL Supervisory Board – Strefa and a member of the Supervisory Board of Atos Medical in Sweden.
