Topic: Appointment of a member of the Management Board of MCI Management S.A.

Legal basis: art. 56 subpar. 1 pt 2 Public Offering Act – current and periodical information

The Management Board of MCI SA announces that on 28 April 2014 the Annual General Meeting appointed Mrs. Dorota – Lange – Socha and Krzysztof Obłój to the Supervisory Board of MCI Management SA.
The appointed Member of the Management Board does not participate in any competitive activity in relation to MCI Management S.A, neither is he as a partner in a civil law company, partnership or a member of a governing body in any capital company or a member of competitive legal entities in relation to MCI Management S.A.; he is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors held on the basis of the Act on the National Court Register.

Dorota Lange – Socha

Dorota Lange – Socha is a graduate of the University of Warsaw, faculty of molecular biology. In the years 1982-1984 she was working at the Institute of Biochemistry, University of Warsaw. In 1984 she started her craft commercial activity registered in the Craft Guild under “tailoring and knitting.” For 8 years she was developing a network of boutiques leading at the time in Warsaw and Lódż. Since 1992 till today, is a co-owner of 50% of Forte S.C. company dealing with many aspects of multimedia and creation of companies’ image. Since the early 90’s – since the capital market started to form up in Poland , she actively participates in the process. Summary of these activities was a membership in the Supervisory Board of Saturn TFI S.A. in the years 2008- 2014.

Krzysztof Obłój

Professor Krzysztof Obłój is a specialist in the field of strategic and international management and a lecturer at the University of Warsaw, Leon Kozminski’s Academy and a guest lecturer at renowned business schools, among others, University of Illinois, Norwegian Bodo Graduate School of Management, the French ESCP – EAP, the Slovenian International Management Development Center. His books and articles are published in the USA and Europe (among others, Management Systems, 1993; Winning: Continuous Improvement Theory and High Performance Organizations, 1995; Emerging economies and firms in the global crisis, Palgrave Macmillan, London 2012, The Passion and discipline of strategy, Palgrave, London 2013), and two recent books published in Poland: the Strategy of The Organization: in Search of a Sustainable Competitive Advantage (Strategia organizacji: w poszukiwaniu trwałej przewagi konkurencyjnej:, 2007 Strategia organizacji: w poszukiwaniu trwałej przewagi konkurencyjnej, and The Passion and the Discipline of Strategy , 2010 (Pasja i dyscyplina strategii), became bestsellers on the Polish market. Professor Krzysztof Obłój has extensive experience as an advisor for organization matters. He worked for such companies as GSK, LPP, Beiesdorf, ABB, Benckiser, PZU, PKN Orlen and many others in the field of strategy development, organizational structure. He was the chairman or member of several supervisory boards, including Agora – Gazeta S.A., Dwory S.A., Orlen, PZU SA, Polmos Lublin SA. Currently, he is a member of the supervisory boards of three joint-stock companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
