It is no exaggeration to say that it was one of the most important business and social events of this season. On 25 of September, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of MCI Capital.
Over 150 distinguished guests – friends and supporters of MCI – arrived at the ceremonial Gala at the Reduta Banku Polskiego in Warsaw. Among them were representatives of the largest banks and financial institutions, business partners, heads of portfolio companies and editors-in-chief of the most important economic media.
Of course, there were also memories of the founder of MCI, Tomasz Czechowicz , who talked about the beginnings of his business path, which began with selling software as a teenager at the computer exchange in Wrocław. “Its manager was the chairman of our Supervisory Board, Zbigniew Jagiełło, who is here today, and I had no idea then that I would come this far to meet you here in Warsaw at this Gala,” he said. “Today we are one of four domestic mid-market PE funds actively investing in CEE, the only one listed on the stock exchange and the only one focused on technology and digital companies,” added Czechowicz.
