Jacek Murawski will support MCI with his extensive managerial experience and broad knowledge of new technologies and telecommunications market, complementing the competences of the existing Team in the areas of telecommunications and mobile services. These experiences, in the light of the plentiful perspectives for development of mobile Internet are especially valuable.
Jacek Murawski, prior to his commitment as Investment Partner in the MCI Group, was the president of the leading Polish web portal â Wirtualna Polska S.A., before that, he was a member of the board of CFO PTK Centertel Sp. z o.o., where he was responsible for finance and strategy of Polandâs largest mobile carrier (Orange/PTK Centertel). He also held the following positions: director of finance in Tchibo Sp. z o.o., chief accountant in Polkomtel SA, member of the board and financial controller in Polskie KsiÄ Ĺźki Telefoniczne and director of finance in Bantex SA.
At MCI, Jacek Murawski will be responsible for new investments (acquisitions of companies in the sectors of Internet, telecommunications, media and new technologies) and development of new funds in MCIâs portfolio. Thanks to his knowledge and experience, the portfolio companies will be able to adopt the highest standards helping them to build their value.
Jacek Murawski is a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics (Finance and Accounting) and WSB/HEC (EMBA). He has over 20 yearsâ experience in managing companies in different sectors and stages of development.
