We are excited to announce the hires of Paweł Sikorski and Tomasz Mrozowski to the position of investment partner, Wojciech Degórski to the position of investment manager, and the promotion of Michał Górecki to the role of senior investment partner.
Paweł joins as a new investment partner who will focus on e-commerce, marketplace, and consumer SaaS sectors and facilitate MCI’s development in select foreign markets. He has over 20 years of professional experience, primarily in private equity, venture capital, and investment banking. Throughout his career, Paweł has advised and executed on multiple M&A and listed-company transactions valued at over PLN 1 billion. Prior to MCI, Paweł worked at Enterprise Investors, Citigroup, and BBI Capital, and co-founded Protos and Protos Next venture capital funds. Paweł is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics.

Tomasz joins as a new investment partner focused on the cleantech, mobility and digital infrastructure sectors. He will also be responsible for investments in south-eastern Europe (Greece, Romania, Bulgaria). Tomasz spent the past seven year implementing M&A projects totaling PLN 20 billion within the PLAY/Iliad group in infrastructure and telecommunications. Tomasz also spent 8 years at BCG where he helped transform, integrate, and improve the effectiveness of companies in many sectors. Tomasz studied at the Warsaw School of Economics, Copenhagen Business School, and KAIST Business School.
Tomasz Mrozowski – Investment Partner
Wojciech joins as a new investment manager who will support the fund’s portfolio companies in their further development and support new investment processes. Prior to MCI, Wojciech worked at the Warsaw office of 3TS Capital Partners, where he provided analytical support for investments in companies in the technology sector and worked directly with the management boards of portfolio companies in the construction and implementation of strategic business initiatives. Wojtek graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics with a master’s degree in Finance and Accounting.

Michał has been promoted to the role of senior investment partner. Michał focuses on the food, travel, fintech, proptech, and omnichannel sectors and overseas MCI’s current investments in eSky, Travelata, MarketFinance, and Papaya Global. Prior to MCI, Michał was responsible for business development, portfolio management, and exit strategies at a high-net-worth family office and worked in M&A advisory. Michał also has extensive operating experience having held both CEO and CFO roles. Michal is FCCA qualified and a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics.
