The development strategy of ABC Data S.A., a MCI Management portfolio company, is bearing fruit. The revenue of the leading distributor of electronic equipment in Poland grew by 17% in the first half of the year as compared to the corresponding period in 2013, reaching PLN 2,560 million. The company’s EBITDA rose by nearly 19%, amounting to PLN 37.6 million. The Group’s net profit rose by 1% to PLN 20.4 million. Unit net profit on which dividend is paid by the company reached PLN 28.8 million, which represents year-on-year growth of 68%.
The execution of ABC Data’s annual forecast is proceeding as planned. The forecast envisaged that in 2014 the company would generate a profit of PLN 5,762 million, with EBITDA of PLN 92.1 million. The financial result obtained in the first half of the year indicates that the annual plan has been executed for revenue in 44% and in 42% for EBITDA.
