27 Polish companies were distinguished in the latest issue of the prestigious ranking, Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE, which features the list of fastest-growing technology companies in the region of Central Europe. The companies were evaluated on the basis of operating activities revenue growth dynamics. MCI Management SA was a partner of this year’s edition of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE Ranking.
For the third consecutive time, the leader in the ranking was a Romanian company with Polish roots, Vola.ro. The Serbian company Bitgear Wireless Design Services was the runner up. The highest-ranking Polish company, Softhis from Kraków, took third place. The total value of revenues of the companies classified in the main category was EUR714 million in the year 2012.
The awards ceremony was preceded by a panel discussion on the topic “Science and business: real cooperation or penguin mating rituals?” featuring Prof. Marek Niezgódka – Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling; Magdalena Burnat-Mikosz – leader of Deloitte R&D department and Government Initiatives in Central Europe; Tomasz Czechowicz – President of MCI Management; Adam Maciejewski – President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange; dr Bartosz Ziółko – AGH University of Science and Technology and Marcin Warwas – VP Comarch.
