Komisja Nadzoru FinasowegoThe Management Board of MCI Management S.A. informs that on May 12, 2009 the Supervisory Board of the issuer acting on the basis of § 14 subpar. 4 of the Statutes of the Company decided to appoint Mr. Andrzej Olechowski as new member of the Supervisory Board.
The following is CV of new member of the Supervisory Board of MCI Management SA:
Andrzej Olechowski – former Minister of Finance (1992) and Foreign Affairs (1993-95). He ran for President of Poland in 2000. He was also economic adviser to President Lech WałÄsa (1992-93 and 1995); Senior Adviser to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (1992-93); Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations (1991-92); first Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Poland (1989-91); economist for the World Bank (1985-87) and UNCTAD (1982-84); Chairperson of the City Council of Warsaw-WilanĂłw (1994-98).
Held positions of member or chairperson of the Supervisory Boards of such companies as EXBUD, Philips Lighting Poland, Bank Rolno-Przemysłowy, Bank Turystyki (Bank Wschodnio-Europejski), Czytelnik, LOT, Polish-American Enterprise Fund, ABB Polska, Atlantis, PGF, Central Europe Trust Poland, PKO/Handlowy PTE, European Mortgage Fund and PKN Orlen. Currently sits on the Supervisory Boards of: Bank Handlowy, Euronet, Layetana Developments Poland. He is member of advisory committees of ACE, Citigroup Europe, Macquarie European Infrastructure Funds.
He is European Vice-Chairperson of the Trilateral Commission and member of the governing bodies e.g. in Stefan Batory Foundation, Institute of Public Affairs, Economic-Social Society.
Mr. Andrzej Olechowski does not conduct operations which are competitive to the Company; he does not participate in a competitive company as partner in a civil law company, registered partnership or member of a governing body of a capital company; he does not participate in any other legal person as member of its governing body. Mr. Andrzej Olechowski is not entered on the register of insolvent debtor referred to in Art. 55 of the Act on the National Court Register.
