The Management of MCI Management S.A. informs that on February 23, 2006 the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of Bankier.pl SA decided to make an initial public offering of the shares of the company. Most probably still in H1 this year the financial portal Bankier.pl will have its debut at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Bankier.pl SA shares will be offered by IDMSA Brokerage House. Currently the company is intensively working on the details of the offer with the Brokerage House. After the details have been agreed the structure of the issue will be presented.
Going public is another giant step in its growth for Bankier.pl. As a result of IPO the company will maintain its independence as a medium and a financial intermediary and it will gain capital for further expansion. Furthermore, Bankier.pl will increase its investment base by opening among others to the community of its users. The presence at the WSE will surely translate into a greater popularity of the portal and the Bankier.pl brand awareness.
Bankier.pl portal is the leading financial information web site and independent financial intermediate in the Polish Internet. According to the latest results of the survey conducted by Megapanel PBI/Gemius from December 2005, Bankier.pl is the most frequently visited web site in Business/Finance/Law category (except for economic web sites of horizontal portals).

The shareholders of Bankier.pl S.A. at present include two venture capital funds – MCI Management SA (38%) and bmp AG (62%) which is listed at stock exchange in Warsaw and Frankfurt.
